Tuesday 14th February
PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN NORTH
BRENTWOOD TOWN 1 – 1 EAST THURROCK UNITED
Another entertaining match and another home draw for Blues in another Essex Derby on Tuesday night.
Andy Freeman saw his 12th minute shot well saved by the visitors former Brentwood goalkeeper Anthony Page, but it was the Rocks who took an 18th minute lead with an emphatic finish from Brian Moses.
Brentwood keeper Melvin Minter's save in 27th minute prevented Moses increasing East Thurrock's
Lead. Connor Hogan’s long range effort was just off target before Blues equalised in the 36th minute, Jack Adlington firing home off the underside of the crossbar.
Chances continued to come before half time with Blues’ George Craddock having his shot blocked and Moses heading wide at the other end.
There were fewer chances in the second half but both teams went close in the last minutes with Minter saving from Johnny Ashman and Adlington shooting just wide of the Rocks goal.
Brentwood Town: 1 Melvin Minter, 2 James Folkes, 3 Andrew Freeman, 4 Connor Hogan, 5 Matt Cripps, 6 Jack Humphrey, 7 Solomon Ogunwomoju, 8 George Craddock (Bryan Ifeanyi 76'), 9 Ross Wall, 19 Jack Dickinson, 11 Jack Adlington.
