FELIXSTOWE & WALTON UNITED 2 – 0 BRENTWOOD TOWN
A goal in each half saw Blues return from Suffolk pointless on Saturday despite a good performance especially in the first half but in the end it was the home team that took their chances to earn a win.
Blues went closest to scoring in the opening stages of the first half when James Folkes hit the post in the 12th minute, but the Seasiders took the lead after 32 minutes when George Clarke headed into the top corner. Brentwood had chances to equalise before half time through Andy Freeman and Chris Dickson.
Felixstowe substitute Joshua Hitter made it 2-0 in the 64th minute, driving a fiercely struck free kick into the bottom corner of the goal to seal the points.
