Brentwood Town is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Ade Cole from fellow Isthmian League North Division outfit Walthamstow.

The midfielder brings a wealth of experience to The Brentwood Centre Arena, having also played for Folkestone Invicta, Margate, Haringey, Maldon & Tipree, Hemel Hempstead, Braintree Town and Billericay Town.

Cole swaps E17 for CM15 and will be available for selection against Concord Rangers on New Year’s Day.

Upon signing for Keith Rowland’s side, the midfielder said “Im excited to be joining Brentwood. Currently sitting 3rd in the league and pushing for promotion, it’s an exciting challenge to be part of. It’s even better reconnecting with some familiar faces I’ve played alongside in my younger years. The new 3G pitch is an obvious attraction and with the club being a great environment, I’m looking forward to contributing to the club’s ambitions.”

When asked about what kind of player Blues’ fans can expect, Ade explained, “As a centre midfielder, fans can expect me to bring control and composure to the game, whether I’m playing as a 4 or an 8. I pride myself on being a deep-lying playmaker, keeping things ticking with smart passes and linking up play. I’ll also bring plenty of energy and enthusiasm, both on and off the pitch, to help drive the team forward and contribute to the squad’s success.”
