SATURDAY 9TH NOVEMBER 2024
ISTHMIAN LEAGUE NORTH DIVISION BRENTWOOD TOWN 8 - 0 IPSWICH WANDERERS

Brentwood Town secured all three points against Ipswich Wanderers with a stunning 8-0 victory at the Brentwood Arena.

A perfectly weighted through ball by Andrew Freeman found Lee Noble, who cut behind the defender before firing one home for The Blues.

Danny Ogunleye nearly made it two as his long range attempt forced the fingertips of Warren Burwood.

Jesse Olukolu got The Blues’ second against the Suffolk side, as he danced past the defence and put it in the bottom right corner.

Shad Ngandu got his fourth league goal after the break as his effort from inside the box found the net.

Ogunleye made it four in a matter of minutes before Kai Brown converted from the spot.

A free kick on the edge of the box was handled by Ngandu and made its way past Burwood, making it 6-0 to the home side.

An inswinging cross from Freeman found Olukolu in the box who made it seven.

The header of Blues Academy product Harry Elsey added another goal to the tally for The Blues, with the young defender opening his scoring account and making it eight for Keith Rowland’s side.

Brentwood Town are back on the road again this week, travelling to the Mile End Stadium on Wednesday 13th November to take on Sporting Bengal United in another Isthmian League North Division clash.
