After a trip to FA Bisham Abbey last weekend and Tuesday night’s 1-0 defeat away to Isthmian Premier League side Concord Rangers, Brentwood Town are preparing themselves for their final pre-season test home to local neighbours, Billericay Town.
The Blues will close out the summer pre-season schedule with another big test against Isthmian Premier League opposition kicking off at 3.00pm.
Admission is by card or cash on the turnstile and is just £5 for adults and £3.50 for concessions and £1.00 for U16’s. The Blue’s have enjoyed a series of excellent pre-season friendly matches so far with victories over Ashford United (5-0), Aveley (4-1) and Luton Town XI (4-0). Losing away to Chelmsford City and Concord Rangers plus an excellent Leyton Orient Academy Team. After the Billericay Town friendly, Blue’s next fixture is the opening Isthmian North League match away at Bury Town a week on Saturday, 12th August, with kick-off at 3pm.
The attention won’t be solely on manager Craig Shipman and his squad of players. We have a very special match guest in attendance, with none other than Mr. Barry Hearn OBE, the President of our main sponsor and key partners Matchroom Sport.
Jez Dickinson, Chairman of Brentwood Town FC said, “Matchroom and Barry Hearn have already been amazing in their support for Brentwood Town F.C. The Partnership is a fantastic lift for the club and creates a massive kick start to our new Project 3G which will include a Brand new 3G pitch in May '24 plus a stadium and club house development. Brentwood Town F.C. are on an exciting journey and I hope the whole of Brentwood will get behind us. I would like to say a personal thank you to Barry for all his support and advice to me and the club as a whole."
