Brentwood Town welcome Leighton Town to the Arena on Saturday in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.

Leighton Town are members of the Spartan South Midlands League and defeated FC Clacton away 1-0 in the Extra Preliminary Round of the competition two weeks ago. If the match ends in a draw the replay will be on Tuesday 20^th August 7.45pm at Leighton Town FC. We expect the draw for the next, 1^st Qualifying, round of the FA Cup to be on Monday.

Apart from our pre-season matches, we have not played a 1^st team match at the Brentwood Arena since Chichester City were the visitors in the FA Trophy, way back on the 17^{th of} October 2020, ten months ago! Our last competitive fixture was also in the FA Trophy, away to Bishop’s Stortford on 31^st October. So, we are all hoping, and reasonably confident, that we will get a full and proper season this time. It will be good to see our supporters again and we hope to entertain you all and bring some success this season.
