Thanks to all those who braved the wind to either support or take part in our festival of football organised in collaboration with Bennett’s Funerals. The day began with a charity football tournament involving all of the Young Blues Academy teams, followed by both men’s teams and vets teams. Monies raised from the event will be given to men’s mental health charities.

Brentwood Town FC’s first team played their second pre-season friendly V Ashford United FC at 3pm and emerged 5-0 winners. The score line slightly flattered the Blues but it was a great work out with Matty Price scoring a couple of cracking goals. We’re back in action this coming Tuesday 18th July V Aveley FC KO 7.45pm and are expecting a decent crowd.
