Brentwood Town are excited to announce the signing of Kai Brown following his departure from step 3 side Cheshunt.
Kai began his career at Grays Athletic and was signed by the academy of Ipswich Town, where he featured in their under 18 and under 21 squad respectively.
He embarked on loan spells at Dagenham and Redbridge and Welling United before returning for a second spell at Grays.
Other notable clubs that Kai has featured in include Isthmian Premier’s Hastings United and Whitehawk, as well as Burgess Hill Town from the Isthmian South East Division.
During the 2023/24 season Kai joined Basildon United where he made 13 appearances and scored 13 goals before joining Aveley. He was also on loan at Canvey Island last season and joins us after a spell step 3 side Cheshunt where he produced one goal in five appearances.
When asked on signing for The Blues Kai said: “After positive conversations (with the management team) they really sold to me the project and what they want to achieve for the club.”
“The fans can expect someone who will work hard every game for the team and get them off their seats with excitement whilst scoring as many goals as I can”.
Assistant manager Steve Butterworth added, “We are very pleased to have Kai. We tried last season when he was flying with Basildon and Aveley but have finally convinced him and hope to get back the form from last season.”
