The Blues have their final home game of the season up against an already relegated Basildon United. A win for Brentwood Town would secure the Isthmian North Division title.
The Blues
Brentwood Town drew 2-2 away at Wroxham in their last match, a difficult game for the Blues in Norfolk. Ryan Miles got the hosts off to a very good start, scoring in the 4th minute, before a stunning equaliser from Jonathan Nzengo. On the stroke of half time, the Blues went ahead with a goal from Romel Aarons Royal, but it wasn’t enough for the three points as Wroxham equalised through Asa McGeachy in the 74th minute. However, Brentwood are still within touching distance of the title, and a win on Monday afternoon would see them over the line, regardless of other results.

The Bees
Basildon United lost their last game 2-1 at home to Ipswich Wanderers, another of the already relegated teams. It was a goalless first half, but the Wanderers got two goals in the space of eight minutes, with the first coming in the 55th minute from Jack Madley, before Rhys Henry added the second. Alfie Osborne got a late consolation for the Bees in the 89th minute, but it was too little too late. This game is only for pride for the Bees as they have already been mathematically relegated, and will be in the division below next season.
