Both sides were level with a goalless draw at half time, but the hosts took the lead through Brandy Makuendi before Joe Gregory added another. Hereford head into this weekend with a 4-0 victory over Marine. The hosts currently sit sixth in the league on 27 points and are just five points away from the league’s top spot. They have won two of their previous five games and have lost the remaining three. The Bulls recently made two new additions to their squad with goalkeeper Tom Donaghy on a month-long loan from Fleetwood Town and striker Jaiden White from the Southern League Premier outfit, Redditch United.

Caddis took charge of Hereford in May 2023 and has won seven out of the 17 league games played this season.

The opponents’ leading goal scorer is Andy Williams on six goals in all competitions this season, five of them being league goals. Tate Campbell and Yusifu Ceesay have each netted three respectively for Hereford.

This is the first time that the two clubs have been drawn against each other in the FA Trophy. A back-to-back cup game victory for The Blues would set a new club record in the competition. Hereford FC reached the final 16 last season and were in the final of the trophy four years ago.
