RYAN O'RAWE'S new look Brentwood Town will kick-off their pre-season programme by hosting fellow Step 4 side Barking in a Friday night kick-off at The Arena.
Player-manager O'Rawe has been re-shaping the squad left by predecessor Craig Shipman this summer and will get a chance to test it against Justin Gardner's talented Blues outfit in a 7.45pm kick-off on July 19.
It will be the start of a new era under Jez Dickinson at Town, who have invested in making improvements to their pitch and clubhouse over the break.
Ryan said: "Barking at home on a Friday night is a good way to start out pre-season programme, and I'm sure it will be a good evening out for fans as well as a decent match.
"I've been so impressed with what our owner is trying to do with the club and we hope to make the ground a good place to come and socialise, in addition to seeing a successful team.
"We've expanded the clubhouse, will have a new outdoor bar and music so it should be a good atmosphere, and maybe a good start to the evening for anyone heading into Brentwood for a Friday night out.
"And the match will give our fans the chance to see some of the new faces in the squad - we really want everyone to get behind what we are trying to do this season."
Town also will host Chelmsford (July 23) and Cheshunt (July 30) and conclude their summer schedule with a trip to Whitehawk (August 10).
