New Signing: Koby Yeboah

Club News | 11 Dec 2024

Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of central midfielder Koby Yeboah from fellow step 4 side, Ipswich Wanderers.

At the start of his career, Koby developed under the youth academy of Southend United and played amongst the under 18s squad for two seasons.

Following this, he joined Aveley for the 2021/22 season where he was a part of their Football Club College. Koby impressed during his pre-season at The Millers and went on to make 10 appearances for the club, under the management of Keith Rowland.

Throughout the 2023/24 season, Koby made 29 appearances under Redbridge and got his first goal for The Motormen in their 4-3 victory over Maldon and Tiptree. He also featured in the squad that won the Essex County Cup Final via penalties against Colchester United.

Most recently, Koby made seven appearances under Ipswich Wanderers and claimed the Man of the Match award for his performance against Mildenhall Town.

When asked on signing for The Blues, Koby said, “The club has a captivating ambition, striving to win the league with an attractive style of play and great people within.”

“My biggest strengths are driving with the ball through the midfield and receiving the ball in tight pockets, whilst intercepting play quickly”, he added.

We can expect an enthusiastic player with an ambition to win and give an 110% effort when stepping onto the pitch. Brentwood Town look forward to welcoming Koby Yeboah into the squad for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
