BRENTWOOD TOWN 2 - 2 LEISTON

Lee Noble grabbed an 89th minute equaliser to earn Brentwood a deserved Tuesday night replay. 

Leiston took a sixth minute lead through an unfortunate own goal when Toby Stevenson deflected a right wing cross by Ismael Botelho Fatadjo past home keeper Melvin Minter. 

Brentwood then had chances with Kai Brown shooting over from a good position and William Johnson saving well from Andy Freeman. The equaliser came on the half hour with Stevenson making amends for the own goal with a fine strike from the edge of the area. 

Blues went close again through Benas Vaivada and Freeman, but Fatadjo set up Jamar Loza who nearly restored the visitors lead in the 43rd minute when his shot hit the foot of a post. 

Johnson saved again from Daniel Ogunleye early in the second half before Leiston regained the lead in the 59th minute when Loza cut in from the left and his shot was deflected past Minter. 

Leiston kept possession well, restricting Blues chances until Andy Freeman’s run from the left set up Noble to make it 2-2 with a fine finish.
