Brentwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of centre forward Ayo Odukoya from fellow Isthmian North outfit Redbridge.

Ayo has made several appearances throughout the Essex Senior and Isthmian North Divisions respectively. He scored on his debut for Bowers and Pitsea as they secured a 2-0 victory over Brightlingsea Regent in 2018, before featuring in the under 23s squad at Tilbury.

In 2019, Ayo made a impressive impact at Basildon United as he provided five goals in his first three appearances for the club. He followed this with a hat-trick and two assists in the Bees’ 6-0 league victory over Romford.

Some of his other clubs include the likes of Walthamstow, Witham Town and Great Wakering Rovers.

At East Thurrock United, Ayo converted four goals in six games as well as being crowned Essex Senior League champion with Enfield FC during the 2022/23 season.

Most recently Ayo completed a move to Redbridge where he provided eight goals in 38 appearances during the 2023/24 season. He was also a part of the squad that won the Essex Senior Cup, having secured a 5-4 penalty victory over League Two outfit Colchester United.

When asked on signing for The Blues, Ayo said, “The squad is strong, the ambition is there and the boys at the club are great people. Brentwood is the perfect place to win, and it feels like the right fit.”

“The fans can expect me to give everything for the team and be out there fighting to make sure we get the job done”, Ayo added.

We can expect a highly skilled, physical forward with strengths in his ariel duels and left footed shots. Brentwood Town look forward to watching Ayo in action for the remainder of the season.
