Brentwood Town are delighted to announce that Rod Stringer has been appointed as new First Team Manager. Rod has achieved success wherever he has been, starting at Aveley then moving on to Braintree, Bishop’s Stortford and Chelmsford City. Appointing one of the stand-out non-League managers of the last ten years shows the true ambition of the club. Rod was appointed whilst overseas which leaves Larry Bayford as Caretaker Manager for the FA Trophy match against Corinthian on Saturday. Rod will fly home to join up with his new club next week. It’s exciting times at Brentwood Town and the real journey starts now.
