Midfield maestro George Craddock has been at Brentwood Town for a few seasons now and has certainly become a favourite amongst Blues supporters. We recently took the opportunity to catch up with him, as we look forward to what will hopefully be a very successful season for the club.

What is your favourite BTC memory?

Got to be our F.A. Trophy run, we were unlucky to lose at home to Dulwich hamlet.

And also making the play offs. But I’m excited for this season, we've got an exciting group of boys and we hope to make it another memorable season.

Who was your footballing idol growing up?

Cor, that's a tough one. I'd probably say Beckham. The preds, the technique, the vision.

Who's the biggest joker in the squad?

Joker/clown has got to be the one and only Matthew Price.

Who would you say is the most intelligent in the team?

We ain't the brightest bunch, but i'll have to say Lovey (James Love).

What advice would you give to an aspiring young player?

Just enjoy it, and let your football do the talking.

George had a strong pre-season and has already got himself off the mark with a goal in our away match at Bury Town. No doubt he will be contributing plenty more goals and assists from his midfield berth this season too.
