The Ship Sails In!

We are delighted to confirm Craig Shipman as the new manager of Brentwood Town FC.

BTFC Chairman Jez Dickinson said – ‘’ We are thrilled to bring in Craig and his Management Team to BTFC. Craig is a proven coach and innovator at this level and above who fits our vision for the club. He has had major impacts at all his previous clubs, and he has unfinished business at Brentwood. We look forward to supporting him and his team to fulfil the current strong squad’s potential ‘’

Craig returns to the Brentwood Arena after stepping down as manager back in May 2019 after 3 years at the club, since he has had a successful spell at Great Wakering as assistant manager guiding them to just outside the playoffs he then moved on to National South outfit Concord Rangers for 18 months, where he was 1st team coach and helped them achieve a respectable 14th place finish.

Danny Green. Danny has represented clubs at professional levels throughout his career such as Charlton Athletic , Luton Town, Mk Dons and Dagenham & Redbridge making over 300 appearances. At the start of the 2022 season Danny took his 1st step into management with Concord Rangers as assistant manager to Chris Search and worked alongside Craig in the coaching role.

James Smith. James is an experienced goalkeeping coach working at various levels and is a fantastic addition to the management team.

Leigh Bailey. Leigh has worked for InStat for the previous 2 seasons, providing high-level, detailed analysis, video clips, and reports to clubs from Step 6 up to the Premiership. Experienced in opposition analysis, GPS data, and tracking, Leigh will bring a great level of analytical detail to the team. Leigh also worked for Concord Rangers and Chelmsford City.
