Saturday 18th November
PITCHING IN ISTHMIAN NORTH
GRAYS ATHLETIC 0 – 3 BRENTWOOD TOWN
Three very late goals saw Brentwood to what in the end was a comfortable win against a struggling Grays team at Tilbury FC on Saturday. Grays are without a win this season and in a mostly even contest it look as though they would earn the sixth draw of their campaign.
Brentwood had a goal by Connor Hogan ruled out for offside in the second half before Andy Freeman finally scored in the 80th minute from a free kick on the edge of the penalty area. Romel Aarons Royal headed in his first goal for Brentwood in the 84th minute and Daniel Ogunleye found the bottom corner with clinical finish just before the full-time whistle.
The result put Brentwood up to a playoff-placed fifth position in Isthmian North
